Jim Landino

Managing Partner, President /CEO

Landino has been with Sunbelt since 1993 where he currently offices out of our Sharon, PA facility. He has been the President/CEO since 2011. Prior to that, Landino served in many roles including both Sunbelt’s National Sales Manager and Chief Operating Officer.

Before joining Sunbelt, Landino was with the Electric Equipment Company located in Rochester, NY from 1986 to 1993. With more than 27 years in the electric industry, Landino has played a strategic role in the overall management and growth of Sunbelt in both our domestic and international markets.   

After attending Arkansas State University from 1982 to 1983, Landino received his diploma from the Rochester Institute of Technology in 1984. 

His pride and joy are his two children, Alex and Olivia. Landino’s energetic lifestyle includes; running, kayaking and helping rebuild Sharon, Pa by restoring old downtown buildings. A lover of people and a commitment to their health and well being, Landino is active in promoting a healthy and prosperous lifestyle for everyone he comes in contact with.

Jim Gentry

Jim Gentry joined the Sunbelt staff in 2007 and offices in Temple, Texas. Jim attended Baylor University, Waco, Texas, receiving his Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting in 1987. He also obtained his Public Accounting certification (CPA) from the State Board of Public Accountancy – Texas, in 1992. Jim spent 3 years in public accounting and has over 20 years in private accounting with a manufacturing focus. Jim’s experience includes seven years with Marathon Power Technologies, Waco, TX as Divisional Controller and seven years with Durcon, Inc. as Chief Financial Officer.

Jim and his wife Susanne, reside in Waco, Texas. They have one daughter, Kim, and one granddaughter, Taylor. During his spare time, Jim enjoys golf, running, reading, hunting, land management on his small West Texas ranch and “RV-ing” with his family. The Gentry’s attend First Baptist Church of Woodway in Woodway, Texas.

Eric Johnson

Partner, International Sales Manager

Johnson joined the Sunbelt team in 1992 at our corporate office in Temple, TX. With more than 20 years of sales, operation and leadership experience, Johnson has been immersed in the electrical industry—from manufacturing, process improvement, operations to sales.

Today as the International Sales Manager, Johnson oversees overall coordination, functional management and leadership of the global sales initiatives. Key functions include development and execution of sales strategies, key account management, and management of the global sales team. Johnson headed up the International office location in Pompano Beach, Fl, where he currently resides. Prior to opening our international hub, Johnson worked in our Temple, TX, Sharon, PA, and Simpsonville, SC depots where he helped run operationally for  many years.

Eric is happily married to Angi and they have two young daughters, Skylar and Laynee. Eric enjoys spending time with his family, racquetball, biking, and snowboarding.

Dan Sweeney

Dan Sweeney attended Kent State University, Kent, Ohio, earning his Bachelors of Business Administration degree in Marketing in 1996.  Dan has spent his entire career in the high voltage electrical industry, getting his start in the way of a three year apprenticeship working for Marv Hamby, founder of Hamby Young.  After a brief stint with Professional Electric Products Company in Cleveland, Dan joined Sunbelt in 2000 and currently holds the Chief Operating Officer position.  Dan brings an enthusiastic approach to sales and management and is devoted to building strong leadership skills in all those around him.

Dan resides in Howland, Ohio with his wife Laura, and young daughters Amy Marie and Emily Joy. They attend Blessed Sacrament Catholic Parish in Warren, Ohio. Outside of spending time with friends and relatives and rooting for their favorite sports teams, Dan and Laura enjoy the simple joys, and sometimes challenges, of raising a young family together.
