Sunbelt Transformer has recently acquired a 427MVA GSU transformer for power plants. This unit has Input Voltages from 13.8kv to 25kv and in between.

The output voltage at full rating is 230kv.

The unit will be available for long and short term rentals.

The transformer will fill a need for power plant operators to keep their plants on line if they have an unscheduled transformer issue requiring repair or replacement.

We have also acquired the associated Schnabel Rail-Car in order to make moving this unit easier and reduce transit time. The unit ships full of oil so that field processing is not required. We are very excited about this added capability.
